SCHS Principal Search

Seton Catholic High School of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish, Richmond, Indiana (gr 7 to 12), is seeking to fill the position of Principal for the 2026-27 school year. 

In the mission of making every student a disciple of Jesus, Seton Catholic School aspires to exemplify spiritual growth, academic excellence, and community spirit at all levels. The school operates under the Pastor-Principal model of administration and as such the principal is directly responsible to the Pastor, the School Commission, and the Office of  Catholic Schools, Archdiocese of Indianapolis. 

Summary of Position Duties 

• Act as the primary representative to stakeholders including parents, parish community, and the community at large

• Reinforce and build upon our strong academic program and Catholic identity through faith-based leadership, professional development, and a commitment to excellence

• Oversee the budget and operations of the school in conjunction with the pastor

• Participate in school, parish, and community events

• Collaborate with the pastor, Seton Catholic Elementary principal, and School Commission, to provide a unified pre-K through 12 Catholic education experience

Summary of Candidate Requirement

• Be a practicing Catholic in good standing

• Possess exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

• Exhibit a passion for student achievement and academic excellence

• Be skilled at hiring, training, and retaining teachers and staff, with a passion for building and developing an appropriate curriculum, shared goals, and team work

• Possess a valid administrator's license or equivalent recognition
